
Lentil and Nut Cheez Ball
Ingredients
1 ½ cups lentils
3 ½ cups water
2 tsp salt
1 tbs soy sauce
2 tsp garlic powder
¼ cups pimento
1 tbs onion powder
½ cup nutritional yeast flakes
1 tbs lemon juice
Instructions
- Put all ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil. Boil 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heart and simmer until lentils are soft and mixture is thick. process half at a time in a blender until smooth.
- Stir in ½ cup chopped nuts.
- Chill until cold and east to handle.
- Shape into a ball and roll in chopped nuts.
- *process while hot or it will be too thick
