Day 2: Invisible Elements:

On Monday, the second day of creation the Creator divided again. Genesis 1:6 tells us He now divided the waters from the waters. If you recall on the first day, He divided the darkness and made light. There was then a constant dark and light time every day.

Now He divided the water that was already on the whole face of the earth and created what I call the gift of the Invisible Elements. He actually divided the oxygen out of the waters. The “air” or “firmanent” is made up of almost 80% nitrogen and about 19% oxygen with the remainder made up of trace elements.

How important are these Invisible Elements? When considering that the human body can only live about three weeks without food, three days without water, and three minutes without air, we find that water and air are vital to our very existence! We all generally know this and have responded to moments of despair without one or the other. However, how often do we really use these gifts to make our life more relaxing, healthful or to help the body cleanse, heal or de-stress?

SUMMING IT UP:

On the second day of creation the Creator divided the water and made the “air” or “firmament” which I call the gift of the Invisible Elements. Here we see that the Creator used hydrogen and oxygen to make water. He then divided the waters and made air out of oxygen by adding nitrogen and other trace elements. All these invisible elements have life giving properties we need to live healthfully and happily, weather in the form of water or air.
