Pauline Brown

Bio:

Pauline Brown, Naturopathic Doctor and Raw Food Chef, is the founder of CODE. Her ideal is to promote healing through lifestyle & natural foods. She ascribes to the same viewpoint as Thomas Edison when he stated, “The doctor of the future will give us no medicine but will interest the patient in care for the human frame in diet and in cause and in prevention of disease.” Pauline further states, “I do not prescribe nor diagnose, but rather I choose to work from the cause to find out the effect. Getting to the root of the problem is my goal. This methodology allows the natural gifts given at creation to heal the body and bring us back to optimal health.” Pauline’s experiences nurturing her family has given her hands-on experience and high respect for the laws of natural health and healing. *

In the mornings, Pauline can be found taking her prayer walk in the woods near her home with her Saint Bernard, Buster. In Pauline’s opinion, time is best spent with family, in the garden, or volunteering with her church family. In the evenings you may find her stacking wood to help a neighbor or enjoying the warmth of her barrel sauna. Although she has traveled the world extensively, she is a Yooper at heart, and her favorite place will always be the Upper Peninsula—or anywhere close to Lake Superior.

Pauline is a graduate of the class of 2014 from IIOM, a 2012 graduate of Living Light Culinary Institute, a 2008 graduate of Bay de Noc Community College, and of Uchee Pines in 2004. She is an associate of the AADP, ANMAB, Andrews University, and Modern Manna. She is a member of Airbnb, Delta Chamber of Commerce, and ANMA.
